Hey ich bin auch wieder da.! im ehemaligen Bahnhof Bettenhausen stehen IMMER Waggons zum Holz beladen bereit. Der Rangierdienst stellt sie sofort um wenn sie voll sind-und wenn der Zug komplett ist wird er abgezogen.

Ich weiß, es ist nur Spekulation, aber da bei dem 3 Triebfahrzeug noch die Weißen Lichter an sind, werde ich das Gefühl nicht los, das der Kerle vergessen hat, sein Führerstand zu deaktivieren. 😅 Wieso den ganzen Zug ausfallen lassen wenn nur der 3 nicht gekoppelt werden kann ?

Die probleme beim kuppeln gibts auch bei go ahead. Da funktioniert nach dem kuppeln z. T. die türfreigabe nicht.

i believe power supply is 2,000V DC in Italy and 15,000V (15KV) AC in Austria and beyond and Brenner is the point of change over between these two different circuits. Obviously they locomotives running on one circuit cannot run through to the other circuit. For a train to pass through a second locomotive capable of running on the second circuit need to be replaced here. Or the locomotive itself should have circuits and switch gears to work on both circuits and the engineer while on run, needs to pull down the pantograph, change the internal circuits and switch gears to operate on the second circuit, wait till the locomotive itself travel on its own momentum from first circuit tracks through a no power zone then into second power circuit lines, then raise the pantograph to receive the second power circuit and then continue with the journey India had this problem on the Indian Railways of two types of power supplies and electric locomotives had go through such change over while the trains itself travelled through such sections In 1925 when electric trains and locomotives were first introduced in colonial India they were powered by 1500V DC circuit on the tractions poles and all locomotives and commuter local trains were running on this supply of 1500V DC supply. Such sections were very few and localised to few cities and divisions on the Railways and all other sections were serviced by steam locomotives and diesel electric locomotives. Steam locomotives were slowly phased out. So on long distance trains originating electrified sections, Electric locomotives hauled the trains till the end of the line where electric supply was available and later a diesel electric locomotive was replaced for the rest of the journey Later in 1960s onwards Indian Railways started electrifying more sections with 25 KV AC 50Hz power supply. New locomotives and commuter local trains were added, both imported and manufactured in India capable of running on 25KV AC. On existing 1500V DC powered lines, the hardware and circuits were changed and replaced to run on 25KV AC. But in Bombay Divisions as extensive commuter local trains were already running between Churchgate and Virar (60 km), Bombay CSMT to Kalyan (54 km) to Poona (192 km) to Igatpuri (137 km) and so this area could not be converted to 25KV AC as it will disrupt the entire commuter local train services which was also the heartline in Bombay life so did not convert to new circuit. So on long distance trains, at Poona DC electric locomotives were replaced with diesel locomotives to run beyond. On another branch, at a station called Igatpuri. trains were detained for twenty five minutes while the first DC locomotive which brought the train from Bombay CSMT was detached, taken to siding, the overhead power circuits changed from 1500 V DC to 25 KV AC and another 25KV AC locomotive was brought in attached and the train journey continued. They had to revere the order of change over while the train was coming into Bombay, while detaining the train at Igatpuri. On the Western Railway in the year 1975, the railways brought in a new locomotive called the WCAM series which was capable of receiving both 1500V DC power as well as 25 KV AC power. Here a train going from Bombay Central to New Delhi started from Bombay Central with this new locomotive with the supply of 1500V DC to this locomotive from over power lines and powered the train to run till Virar at 55 km. Just beyond Virar there was a short section of no traction wires on top and no power zone and immediately after that the tracks were supplied with the power supply 25KV AC. (just like here at Brenner on the border between Italy and Austria). So the locomotive engineer operating the locomotive from Bombay Central as he approached Virar, while the train itself running its full operating speed, pulls down the pantograph disconnecting the power supply to the locomotive, then changed the gears and switches to receive 25KV AC power supply all the while the train was on the move on its inertia. Now the train moved from 1500V DC power zone to no power zone for short distance and then into 25KV AC power zone. Now the engineer pulls up the pantograph to receive theb25KV AC power supply and continue the journey. Later through 2005 to 2015, the power supply in Bombay divisions were slowly converted to 25 KV AC changing all the hardwares, transformers and switch gears without disruption on the commuter local train services. Even new set of new commuter EMU trains were brought in and old ones were decommissioned. Now as at the end of year 2022, more than 93% of the tracks on the Indian Railways have been electrified with same 25 KV AC 50Hz power lines.

Da geht es aber um mehr als nur einen anderen "Stromkreis“ in Italien. Italien und Österreich haben deutlich unterschiedliche Fahrdrahtspannung und Gleichstrom bzw. Wechselstrom...

Das war mal wieder was, so hat der Tag gut und interessant begonnen. Und in der Tat erstaunlich, welche Gewichte durch die Gegend gezogen werden. Man nimmt das immer einfach als gegeben hin. Aber auch die richtige Zusammenstellung der Züge in den riesigen Rangierbahnhöfen eine tägliche logistische Herausforderung.
